Ricci Vianelli Shop is more than just an online store. It's the story of our family, shaped by passion, tradition, and genuine Swiss quality.
Our roots lie in the beautiful Valais region, nestled in the Swiss Alps. This is where we grew up, where we still live today, and where our passion for good food, high-quality spices, and authentic taste experiences originated.
At the same time, we proudly carry our Italian roots within us. Our family originally comes from Vicchio, a small village in Tuscany near Florence. Italian food culture, the joy of sharing meals, and the passion for good food have accompanied our family for generations.
At the heart of our story is Nonno, Italian for grandfather. Nonno is my father, Ermanno Ricci, born in 1963, a passionate chef and the inspiration behind our spice blends. Even though he no longer works as a chef today, his enthusiasm for good food lives on.
Early on, my father developed his own way of seasoning and perfecting dishes. Especially when grilling, pan-frying, and preparing meat dishes, he knew how to create unique taste experiences with the right spices. For him, cooking was never just about preparing food. It was about passion, family, and shared time.
To this day, his greatest joy is when family, friends, and guests enjoy meals together, are delighted, and leave the table with a smile.
As the son of a passionate chef, I practically inherited a knack for spices. For many years, I had the privilege of learning from my father and getting to know his experience, his passion, and valuable family recipes.
Our well-known Nonno's Meat Seasoning was created together with my father at Restaurant Channa in Brig. Over the years, the recipe was continuously developed, refined, and perfected. The Raclette and Fondue Seasoning was developed by me in early 2024, inspired by our Valais homeland and traditional Swiss culinary culture.
All our products are made with great passion and genuine craftsmanship. Each spice blend is carefully mixed, filled, labeled, dated, and packaged by hand. We then deliver our products directly to shops and private customers or send them throughout Switzerland.
For us, quality, authenticity, and trust come first. We consciously focus on honest products rather than mass-produced goods. Swiss quality awareness, regional connection, and attention to detail form the basis of our daily actions.
Our home region of Valais has shaped us since childhood. The mountains, nature, and alpine way of life have instilled in us values such as groundedness, steadfastness, and connection. These values are also reflected in our products and our company.
Our philosophy is to develop spice blends that we wholeheartedly believe in. We combine traditional family recipes with new ideas and place the highest value on high-quality ingredients, careful craftsmanship, and uncompromising quality. Our aim is to create products that bring people together and enrich special moments of enjoyment.
We don't just want to sell spices. Our goal is to inspire people for good food, create special taste experiences, and share the joy of shared enjoyment. Each spice blend carries a piece of our family history and stands for the passion with which we develop our products.
